Curriculum:
All of our classes take a thematic approach to learning by weaving in our weekly theme through age-appropriate language, math readiness and art activities. Each day includes specific time allotted for a Phonics Phase, Math Phase and Theme Phase of the day.
Early exposure to fine motor skill development and symbol recognition lays the foundation for our students' success. Out phonics-based approach to reading-readiness prepares pre-schoolers for an accelerated Pre-Kindergarten curriculum. We are confident that our students are well prepared to meet the challenges of Kindergarten and beyond.
Preschool:
Our Preschool II (Pre-K) class uses a Kindergarten-level curriculum. Our Preschool I class serves as a foundation to prepare children for this higher-level curriculum. The curriculum blends traditional academic activities with creative/play and social learning times throughout the day.
Kindergarten:
We provide before school and after school child care for Kindergartners as well as Kindergarten-level instruction for the students while they are in our care. Field trips are also taken when school is not in session.
School Age:
We provide before school and after school child care, homework sessions and planned school-age activities. We also take field trips when school is not in session.
Summer Fun!
École Maison loves summer! Whether we are heading out to a Clippers game, local parks, the pool or enjoying hands-on cooking, science and computer activities, we keep our School Agers active and engaged.
